I heard a story of my acquaintance who activities of Fair Trade.
When she was a college student, she started activities of Fair Trade because she treated child labour in India as her research theme.
In India, children who can't go to school and poor women are employed and working at cheap wages. In addition, laborers often lose physical condition because of using agricultural chemicals in plantations which are not certified. They can't live by themselves because they don't have a continuing income in their home if they just get money.
However, activities of Face Trade can solve a lot of problems.
In Fair Trade, laborers can work safely because of using certified farms. In addition, laborers can have the significance of working continuously by having proper job and working environment.
In other words, consumers and laborers can build a win-win relationship.
