The memory of the disaster ‐The present conditions‐
Did Japan come to really resist a typhoon disaster?
In recent Japan, it was gone that a large-scale disaster of "three major typhoons of the Showa era" was caused by a typhoon. It may be said that there is it in the disaster prevention measures that have been repeated as one of the big reasons in all over Japan. It is surely the situation that it is hard to think about that lot of human life is lost in the present age by a typhoon disaster so as to be equal to past great disaster. However, when Japan came to really resist a typhoon disaster, where will it be the thing which you may believe to?
In fact, the powerful typhoon does not approach the Japanese Islands except remote islands of Okinawa so as to be equal to "three major typhoons of the Showa era" while I am more than 40 years. In other words in the first place typhoon in itself having been powerful is thought about in the one of the causes even if the great disaster caused by a former typhoon has that the disaster prevention system was unarranged for reasons of the maximum. It is not answered a question whether "a recent typhoon became poor" at "yes", but a very powerful typhoon does not approach recent Japan or what there was much strangely adversely in ... 1950's in mid-in 1930's seems to be reliable.

About the earthquake disaster, Hanshin / Awaji great earthquake disaster
of 1995 has already smashed the vague security "that Japan came to
resist an earthquake". In late years the scale of the typhoon disaster
becomes surely small, but, as for it, it may be merely said that a powerful
typhoon does not approach it recently. When a typhoon equal to a past powerful
typhoon did where it may be said that "Japan came to resist a typhoon"
as expected to in Japan, it will be tried.
