I think everyone has heard of it.
Christianity is one of the three major religions in the world and has the largest number of believers in the world.
Do you know Adam and Eve in the Book of Genesis
Adam, a man created by God, and Eve, a woman made from his ribs as a helper, lived in the Garden of Eden.
God told them not to eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.
However, the snake tempted Eve, and Eve ate the fruit.
And then, Eve made Adam eat this.
The god got angry and has expelled them from paradise.
Also in the legend, a woman named Lilith, Adam's first wife, met the devil and gave birth to many children after leaving Adam.
And Lilith was made a witch in collusion with the devil.
Besides, although not Christianity, in Greek mythology, at first there were only men,
Zeus created a woman named Pandora, and then the men worked and died for beings with a "dog heart".
Isn't this discrimination against women??
Besides these legends, Christianity does something that discriminates against women.
For example, in the early modern period, indigenous female fortune-tellers were regarded as witches.
Christianity has conquered polytheism, which includes the progression of the goddess.
村や小さな町で医者やカウンセラーの役割を果たしていた女性たちも、教会に死産や乳児の死亡、難病などの原因とされ、
魔術を使う魔女であるとデマが広められました。
魔女狩りでは男性も魔女として処刑されていましたが、やはりその数は女性の方が圧倒的だったようです。
ほかにも、中世後期になると、女性の相続権を否定するなど、女性の権利を侵害するようなことを教会は多くしてきました。
パウロも、女性が教会で語ることを禁じ、服従すべきだとしています。
しかし、キリスト教の宗祖であるイエスは、姦淫した女に対して打ち殺そうとしている男たちに
「今まで罪を犯したことがないものがいればこの女をぶちなさい」と言ったり、
12年間出血の止まらない女がイエスの服に触れたときイエスはその女性をとがめることはせず、
その後も律法に従って身を清めることはせずに次の目的地へ向かったといいます（ユダヤ社会では血はタブーとされていました）。
イエスは女性を劣った性として見ることはしませんでした。
また女性たちも、イエスが十字架にはりつけにされ弟子たちが見捨てた時、離れずにともにとどまっていたといいます。
また、イエスの復活の最初の証人になったのも、復活後のイエスから重要な任務を与えられたのも女性でした。
なぜ、イエスは女性にも平等であったのに、教会は女性を軽視するような行動をとったのでしょうか。
それがわかれば、一歩、男女差別の撤廃に近づけるのかもしれません。

・伝説の中で女性が悪いように描かれていたり、魔女狩りを行うなど、男女差別とも取れるような行為が行われてきました。
・しかし、宗祖であるイエスは、女性を差別しなかったといいます。
・なぜ、教会は女性を軽視するような行動を取ったのでしょうか。
それがわかれば一歩、男女差別の撤廃に近づけるかもしれません。
・人の考え方はそれぞれだからどうとも言えないと思います。
