What we can do

Here are some measures that individuals can take to prevent clothing loss.

First, "think carefully before buying"
This is a 3R reduce (Reduse). Reduce is basically reducing the amount of garbage generated, and there are efforts such as bringing my bag and reducing the amount of garbage in shopping bags.
When you buy clothes at a store, think carefully about whether you really want to wear them, depending on whether they are the right size, your favorite design and color, and whether you have purchased something similar recently. It is important to buy.

Second, "Use a used clothing store"
This corresponds to the reuse of the 3Rs. Reuse is the repeated use of items that can still be used, and when you finish using hand soap, you can leave the container and purchase the item for refilling next time.
By putting out clothes that you no longer wear for some reason, or by purchasing clothes at a second-hand clothing store, those clothes will be used for a long time.
In addition to utilizing second-hand clothing stores, one of our efforts is to give clothes that have grown up and do not fit in size to brothers and friends as a drop-off, and to use flea market apps in addition to second-hand clothing stores.

Third "participate in clothes collection"
This corresponds to the same 3R reuse as introduced in the second section.
By participating in the clothes collection introduced on the company's efforts page of this site, I am in trouble because I am poor or developing, not only in Japan like used clothes and places where networks are connected. You can also deliver clothes to people. I'm glad that if you participate in clothes collection, you can contribute to solving the problem of clothes loss and the problem of poverty.

Fourth "Choose a material"
This corresponds to 3R reuse and recycling. Recycling is the reuse of waste as a resource, which requires proper sorting.
Our efforts include choosing clothes made from recycled materials, choosing clothes made from recyclable materials, choosing clothes that use a lot of natural and high-quality materials and can be worn for a long time, and chemical fibers. Among them, choose clothes made of materials that are easily dissolved in water and can prevent the problem of microfiber.
