After doing some research on clothing loss, I found out that H•M offers a clothing collection service, so I took out my unwanted clothes. It was a very easy process. Here's the process of taking out the clothes!

What is H•M's clothing collection service?
First, let me explain about H•M's clothing collection service.
H•M's used clothing collection service collects unwanted clothing, regardless of brand or condition, with the aim of reducing the amount of clothing that goes to landfill or incineration and reusing it as a new resource.
For every bag you bring in, you will receive a 500 yen off coupon that can be used on your next purchase of 3000 yen or more, and 20 Conscious points.
Conscious Points are a point-based program for H•M members (=people who have registered as members of H•M), and are awarded when members take sustainable actions and choices, such as bringing their own bags (or declining to buy shopping bags), bringing clothes to the used clothes collection service, and purchasing products made from sustainable materials (with green tags). These points are awarded when members take sustainable actions or make sustainable choices.
These points can be used to earn a variety of preferential benefits depending on the cumulative points earned, such as a bonus coupon of 300 yen off for every 100 points earned.
As for the 500 yen off coupon, H•M used to distribute paper coupons, but as of December 2021, the paper coupons will be discontinued and digital coupons will be distributed, as the company aims for a more sustainable distribution method. These digital coupons can also be used at the official H•M online store.
Both the Conscious Points and the 500 yen off coupon require you to download the official H•M app in order to get them.

How to take out clothes
™Unwanted Clothes

‡@Download the official H•M app. Then register as a member. There is no annual fee for this. Registration is easy, just enter your email address, password, date of birth, and whether or not you want to receive newsletters. However, as a third-year junior high school student, I was unable to enter my date of birth. It may be that membership registration is only available for high school students. So if you are a junior high school student or younger, please get your family to help you register!

‡AGo to the recycling bins and talk to the clerk nearby. Don't put the clothes you brought without permission. The recycling bins are often located next to the cash register.

‡BThen, follow the clerk's instructions. You will need to show your phone to get the coupon and points, so have the app open and ready.

‡COnce you've earned your coupon, you're done! Points will take a little while to be awarded.

That didn't take long! I can take out the clothes I don't need and get coupons and points... three birds with one stone! It's very easy to do, so I hope you'll try it too.
