Characteristics of Rhexanella verrucosa

Males are 20 mm in length and females are 50 mm in length.
They are found in the mouth of the fished snapper. Tainoe are members of the family of dung beetles and fungus beetles, etc. Tainoe attach themselves to the upper jaw of the tie by a male and a female, and suck the body fluids of the tie. The tainoae invade the thai when they are juveniles and remain parasites for many years in the same pair. (Incidentally, they always parasitize in male-female pairs.

Harm to humans

There is no harm in eating them. Incidentally, parasitic thai is not very tasty because it has no oil on it...😅
