ツユクサ
日本全土を含む東アジアとアメリカ北東部などに分布しています。
ツユクサの漢名は「露草」と呼ばれます。古くはツキクサと呼ばれ「月草」や「着草」と呼ばれます。またその特徴的な花の形から「蛍草」や「帽子花」と呼ばれることもあります。 ツユクサ属は世界に１８０種類程あり、日本には５種類あります。
高さは１５〜５０ｃｍで、直立することはなく、茎は地面を這います。６〜９月にかけて１，５〜２ｃｍほどの青い花をつけます。アサガオなどと同様に早朝に咲いた花は午後にはしぼんでしまいます。
