[The Aduchi-Momoyama Period(1568-1600)]
We call the age, when Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi took the helm of state about 30 years until Tokugawa Shougunate was formed, “Aduchi-momoyama era”.
After this age, the major role of furnishings was “Kosode”. Though there were partial changes constantly, a basic form was almost the same as the modern form. The rapid progress of the technique of coloring and weaving and air being free and refreshing showed on the pattern of Kosode. The then Kosode turned on vivid beauty.
