 The weather bulletin of every place is extracted from land, the sea, and empty.

■Land
 Since the AMEDAS which measures the depth of temperature, precipitation, daylight hours, wind direction wind velocity, and snow coverage, and the weather radar which measures microwave etc. are installed in every place in Japan, they are used and the weather situation of every place is investigated.

■Sea

■Sky
 A radiosonde (temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure) etc. are used and observed. It measures usually being flown by 2 times (8:30 and 20:30) on the 1st, and flying to 30 km of skies at about 18 places, in the whole country.When a typhoon approaches, it may fly a maximum of 4 times in the 1st day.  The collected information is sent to the Meteorological Agency. The information is arranged using a weather data integrated system.

 The earth is divided into fine classification and it asks for the meteorological data in each point. Data is given to all the classification, compensating the observational data which ran short with calculation, the situation of the atmosphere of the present earth is numerically reproduced on a computer, and numerical weather prediction is performed. Calculation at this time is performed by the supercomputer and many calculation processings are carried out for a short time.

 In order to use the form where it is easy to use the result of numerical weather prediction, the work done a concrete weather report from a vast quantity of statistical data of the result of a numerical estimate and the past of an actual weather is done.

 A forecast is divided into a short-term forecast, a weekly forecast, an one-month forecast, a seasonal weather forecast, etc. by the period to predict. Then, information is released through each media, such as a newspaper and television.
