The master lived in the Hunai castle.

The most of the building of the site were lost by destruction and air raid.

The internal building disappeared, and outer walls were restored now.

By the way, in such Hunai castle trace, thereis the place that can feel some feudal lord feelings.

It is this one.

A bridge across the moat with the roof is Rouka-Bashi.

This Rouka-Bashi was restored as the New Oita city birth 30^th anniversary in 1996.

(It merged with Tsurusaki city)

It links Yamsatomaru where a tea ceremony, Noh, viewing the moon, and western citadel.

There was Rouka-Bashi in the Ote-Gate in old days is a model.

As well as decoration, it is reappeared like a lower photo faithfully to the inside.

Only a reader or the person of the castle was able to go in old days.

However, anyone can stroll in Rouka-Bashi now.
