Oita City is in Oita Prefecture,which is the east of Kyushu,and it is
the prefectural capital city of Oita Prefecture.
Oita City have a popuration of about 470,000 people,and have developed
as the most-big hub city of economics and logistics in east-Kyusyu.
In recent period,Oita City had damaged in air raids,but big factories
of heavy and chemical industries were built in City from post to pillar,and
traffic networks are developing too,so Oita City is building a soild position
as the hub city.

Oita City is not only a hub city,but also have rich natural environment.
North of City is facing Beppu-Bay,and around City is surrounded mountains.
And two big rivers,Oita-River and Oono-River,are running through mountain
ravines.
Mt.Tamasaki,which is west of City,is famous for living many wild monkeys.
Saganoseki area,which is east of City,is fisheries can fish many good-quality
fishes. |
