The Darjeeling region is famous for its tea. Darjeeling region is in northeastern India, just like Assam. The tea grown in the Darjeeling region is one of the world's top three teas and is produced in large quantities. But it is not exported much because of its high consumption in India. There are other famous tea-producing regions in India. I wonder why this is. |
