Experiment preparation

After the last experiment

Copper did not affect size and was found to be effective.
The last experiment wascopper andThree types of alkaline liquids,Natural water as an evaluation standard I will try with a total of 5 types.

Experimental tools

Granulated sugar: Prepare enough to put 5 grams each in all graduated cylinders. (35 bottles x 5 grams = 175 grams)
A graduated cylinder solution and flowers are put in and used as a substitute for a vase. Makes it easier to see the reduced amount of water.
Put in a graduated cylinder of natural water.
Gerbera is a flower used for experiments. The stem is cut to 35 cm.
Komagome pipette Put the solution etc. in a measuring cylinder. This time I will use a beaker instead.
Copper plate used for experiments. Put one 2cm x 1cm piece in 100ml.
Carbonated water: Liquid used for experiments. Add 10 ml of carbonated water to 100 ml of natural water.
Soap liquid used for experiments. Put 10 ml in 100 ml.
Bleach liquid used for experiments. Put 1 ml in 100 ml.

experimental method

  • Fill all 35 graduated cylinders with 5 grams of granulated sugar.
  • Put 100 ml of natural and one 2 cm x 1 cm in each of seven graduated cylinders.
  • Put 100 ml of natural water and 10 ml of soap in seven graduated cylinders.
  • Put 100 ml of natural water and 5 g of baking soda in seven graduated cylinders.
  • Put 700 ml of natural water and 2 ml of bleach in a container, and put 100 ml each in seven graduated cylinders.
  • Put 100 ml of natural water in seven graduated cylinders.
  • Divide 7 graduated cylinders from 2 to 6 into 5 for experiment and 2 for observation.
  • Measure the water level, flower length and concentration every Tuesday and Friday.

Preparation for the experiment

The copper plate is cut out.
Experiment with the same length.

実験準備の画像1

I put a small copper plate in a graduated cylinder.
The tweezers are difficult to handle.

I put water in a graduated cylinder.
Fine adjustment is difficult.

Everyone's expectations

Which fungicide will make the flowers last longer? I made a prediction.

 Y.I's forecast
 copper
Reason: In the second experiment, the flowers were protected from bacteria with overwhelming bactericidal power.
 K.A's forecast
 copper
Reason ... Because I survived the most in the second experiment.
 T.U's forecast
bleach
Reason: It is the easiest to dissolve in water, and the bactericidal activity was confirmed in the first experiment.
 H.I's forecast
 baking soda
Reason: I'm expecting the effect of removing dirt.
 M.K's forecast
 water
Reason ... I thought simple was the best.
