What is fermentation ?
The word "Fermentation" comes from "fervere" which in Latin.Alcoholic fermentation of yeast is said to have been used in beer production since about 3000B.C.
But Leewenhoek discovered microbes at the end of the 17th century and found that fermentation is caused by microbes which Louis Pasteur proved is the cause of fermentation.
