＜禁門の変（きんもんのへん）＞Kinmon Incident
尊王攘夷派をたくさん捕まえられた長州藩は、再起をはかるため京都に向かう。
しかし、幕府側はこれを受け入れず、全軍撤退の命令を下したのだ。
話し合いでは無理だとわかった長州藩は、京都に攻め入るのだが、
幕府と新選組の力によって、負けてしまうのであった。
ちなみに、蛤御門の変（はまぐりごもんのへん）とも言う。
Choshu domain lost many Sonno Joi Ha members, so Choshu domain went to Kyoto to regain power.
But the shogunate refuse it and mede the whole army withdraw.
Choshu realize it no use negotiating with the shogunate, so invaded to Kyoto, but lost because of the combined forces between the shogunate and Shinsengumi. This incident is also called Hamaguri Gomonn incident.
