Chiffon cake made with tea leaves |
≪Material≫ Egg yolk: 3
Sugar A: 30g
Milk: 55cc
Salad oil: 25cc
Flour: 55g
Tea leaves: 1 tablespoon
Vanilla essence: a few drops
Egg whites: 3
Sugar B: 30g
≪How to make≫
1. Measure the material.
(separate the egg white and yolk)←Main
2.Add the sugar to the egg whites in 3 batches and make a meringue with stiff peaks.
(Point: If you add egg yolk, it won't work. Separate it well.)
3. Mix egg yolks and sugar until white
4. Add the milk and salad oil to the egg yolk liquid in 3 batches and mix.
5. Add the sifted flour and vanilla essence and mix with a rubber spatula.
6. Add the tea powder and mix. Add a scoop of meringue and mix to blend with
the dough.
7. Add half the meringue and mix Finally, add the batter to the remaining
meringue and mix (point)
8.Pour into the mold and stir 2-3 times with a bamboo skewer to remove air
bubbles.
※If you pour it from a too high place, excess air will enter and cause holes
in the dough, so pour it all at once (this is important)
9.Bake in the oven at 160 degrees for 15 minutes
10.Take it out of the microwave, make an incision with a bamboo skewer, and
bake at 160 degrees for 15 minutes.
11.Place it upside down in a plastic bottle, etc., and let it cool so that
the dough does not collapse.
Thoughts
I wasn't sure if the tea chiffon cake would taste good because it was
made with tea leaf powder, but it turned out better than I expected.
