Also, they are the cause of the health hazard of people who work in farm. So, people has been attracting attention to the new way of cultivation which is eco-conscious and health-consicous for farmers. That's organicfarming .
The organic farming is the way of cultivation making the best use of the soil’s and crop’s ability with using organic fertilizer. This requires the following three points.
Organic farms and processors:
1. Don't use agricultural chemicals.
2. Don't use chemical fertilizer.
3. Use only organic fertilizer in case of using fertilizer.
Quite simply, the organic farming(production) can be close to the traditional farming that farmers used be familiar with. 2. Don't use chemical fertilizer.

But, the standards and the way of the authorization for “organic” were not set out before. So, many “not organic” goods showed “organic” on a label.
So, the Ministry of Agriculture established “Organic Japanese Agricultural Standard(organic JAS) ” to unite the standards for organic farming.
This mark is “Organic JAS Mark
”. The Ministry of Agriculture established it. In case that you want to use the mark on the your goods, the goods must be approved as organic goods by meeting the following strict standards.
You need the permission to put the word “organic” on its label.
1. You have never used aguricultural chemicals on the field for three or more years.
2. You must use organic fertilizer which don't include chemical and heavy metal.
3. The cultivation never destroy the environment.
4. You must keep the working conditions of producers.
5. You must maintain the management of the environment and sanitation.
6. You must make and carry out the program that direct the previous1～5 points.
7. You must be authenticated and taken the test of the previous all points by the organization that the govement reregister every year.
Quite simply, organic JAS says that you
must consider the environment and human rights

But marine products, alcoholic drinks, honey, cosmetics, and soap are not established in organic JAS. They are sometimes put the JONA mark on their labels.
