Sydney Mardi Gras
It is the world's premier event that celebrated its 40th year in 2018. In addition to the parade, over 120 different events are held.
It took place over two weeks and in 2017 250,000 people participated.
Oxford Street which is also the route of the parade is famous worldwide as a gay area, and when entering that area, a lot of rainbow flags are decorated in shops and condominiums.
In the 2017 parade, people participating in the 1978 demonstration march which became the beginning of Sydney Mardi Gras marched on a bus.
The parade will march along the road of 1,7 kilometers to the top of the bike group and more than 180 floats will march.
Large enterprises such as Google, Facebook, Twitter etc from police, firefighting, emergency, military are also participating.

I was surprised that Google, Facebook, Twitter and others are also participating.
Because of the number of gay population following Washington I thought that there were many gay participants even though I was watching the pictures and I felt that the roadside was very crowded with people and it was a country friendly to LGBT.
