Bread
Bread made by fermenting flower, water and yeast, and bake them. Yeast start alcohol fermentation when add it to the object which mix water and flower, and it emit carbon dioxide. Because of this, bread be bigger and more soft than first. Also, yeast has more important roll. It makes smell which people fell bread good taste.
History
Bread made first at B.C.7000~6000, and it said that bread made at Mesopotamia. At first, people made bread which don’t ferment. Also in these days, some area people are making un-fermented bread such as pita pan or chapatti.
The old book discovered, which content is that fermented bread discovered when waste of barley porridge ferment by yeast and lactic acid fungus in air by coincidence.
It said bread brought at Aduti・Momoyama era with gun. However, people had had fear of Christ, so bread didn’t become famous. It have been famous at world warU, when the bread provided for school meal. Recently, it become very popular food in Japan.

In Japan, most people say Pan which means bread.
In Japan, it thought that Pan and bread are same foods. What is different of them?
Pan is related to Portuguese “pao” in 1543, when bread brought with gun.
On the other hand, bread is related to English “bread” in 1853, when Perry came to Uraga port from America.
Kinds
Bread kinds divided to fermented bread and un-fermented bread.
