Thermal power generation is a power generation method that has developed to the extent that it accounts for 70% of the amount of power generated in Japan. The energy conversion efficiency is high, so you can make a lot of electricity.
There is also a big disadvantage that it emits carbon dioxide, which is the cause of global warming.
From the perspective of global warming, which has a major impact on the survival of humankind, we believe that the number of thermal power plants will need to decrease over time.

Solar power generation is a method of generating electricity using solar panels, and isn't it the most common type of power generation that many people have seen?
The number of houses that incorporate the mechanism of solar power generation is increasing recently. However, there are many homes that do not install it, probably because the installation cost is high or it may be damaged.
However, a self-sufficient power generation method may be necessary for power generation in the future.



 



About hydroelectric power generation

I feel that the process and prerequisites for hydroelectric power generation seem to be strict.
Precipitation is essential to generate electricity, and building a power plant itself is difficult from the perspective of deforestation.
The amount of power generated by hydroelectric power is not stable, so we believe that there are many points that are insufficient for future power generation.

About geothermal power generation

Geothermal power generation is one of the power generation methods that we want to develop in the future. Since there are few fatal disadvantages, we believe that stable power generation can be achieved.
There is a possibility that the problem of landscape can be solved by thinking about the location well, and I think that the government can solve it by paying a reasonable cost for the development of power generation facilities.
I would like to see geothermal power generation become more widespread.



 



About biomass power generation

・Poor power generation efficiency


 
Since biomass power generation is carbon neutral, it is attracting attention as a future power generation method.
It is a pity that it cannot be said that it is a completely perfect power generation because it costs the transportation cost of fuel such as wood.
However, if there is a location where fuel is available, such as a logging site, and the power generation facility is nearby, transportation costs can be reduced, so it can be said to be a very good power source.



 



About tidal power generation

Few people have heard the term tidal power generation.
The mechanism itself is as the name suggests, and it is a method of generating electricity using the ebb and flow of the tide.
However, I don't think we can expect much from it, as it has the major disadvantage of destroying the marine ecosystem.



 



About wave power generation

In 1965, Japan became the first country in the world to commercialize a floating vibrating water column device. Thousands of units are still in operation at home and abroad.
Currently, the Japanese government has not set a target for the introduction of wave power generation, but the Ocean Energy and Resources Promotion Organization has set a target for introduction toward 2050.

Solar thermal power generation is often mistaken for solar power generation, but the mechanism of power generation is completely different.
Photovoltaic power generation converts light energy directly into electrical energy, while solar thermal power generation uses the rotation of a turbine to convert light energy into thermal energy.
It is the same as thermal power generation in terms of hitting steam against a turbine, but it can be said to be a good power generation method because it does not emit carbon dioxide or use fuel.
Solar thermal power generation is one of the power generation that is expected to grow in the future and is actively invested in.



 



About Snow and ice thermal power generation

It is used to store snow and ice and to send cold breezes in summer. For this reason, it is done in Hokkaido and Tohoku.
