In recent years, there has been a problem of declining voter turnout among young people.
What do you think about this situation from a "youth" point of view?

I feel that this current situation is very critical, as there is a risk that legislation and other measures that are disadvantageous to the people may be enacted due to political apathy.

What do you think needs to get young people to vote?

I think it is necessary for politicians to call for voting in the media, such as making it possible to vote with a smart phone.

One of the reasons for the decline in voter turnout is that people say that going to the polls is a hassle.
Therefore, are there any new places you would like to established as polling places?

I think it would be a good idea to build a polling place at the station.

What do you look for when choosing which candidate to vote for?

I choose candidates by reading the posters and other materials that are mailed to my home.

Do you think that having your favorite party or politician stand as a candidate motivates you to vote?

I don't think I am motivated to go to elections because I don't have a specific favorite party or politician.

Our Thought and Feelings

There was a suggestion that voting using smartphones would be a good way for young people to vote more.
Smart phone is familiar to Generation Z that they use on a daily basis can be done easily, I thought that we need to work to realize it. I also thought that choosing the candidate one would like to vote for based on the pledges and other information on the posters that are posted is a good first step toward finding a "Oshi" and a "Oshi-Party".
