Our Thoughts

Y.I

Before creating this website, I myself did not have much knowledge about elections. Even though I had learned about the proportional representation system and other electoral systems in school classes, it was difficult to memorize and understand.
We thought that middle and high school students of the same generation as us might have a difficult time understanding elections, so we created this website to help them learn about elections from various perspectives in an easy-to-understand manner. We have created a website where you can learn about elections from a variety of perspectives in an easy-to-understand manner.
You may have seen or heard about the decline in youth voter turnout, combining districts, and overseas elections in the news or in newspaper articles, but one of the attractions of this site is that we survey a wide range of generations to get a firsthand look at their opinions. I think one of the charms of this site is that we can survey a wide range of generations and get their real voices.
We hope that through this site, you will take an interest in the election, try to find your "my fave" and vote.

Knowing the current situation, I was surprised at the low voter turnout among Japanese people.
This activity also made me realize that there are many things I do not know about elections.
I believe that the reason for low voter turnout is that many people view elections as difficult and do not understand what they are about. It is important to know what each political party stands for and how elections work. The more the will of the people is reflected in politics, the better it will be. For this reason, each of us must have a correct knowledge of elections and be able to take responsibility for our own vote.
We hope that this web page will help more people learn about the election and increase the number of people who go to the polls.

I summarized mainly how elections work.
I was surprised to learn that there is an election system that takes into account those who cannot fill in letters and those who cannot vote on the election date, and that it is really an equal right given to all people.
Also, in doing my research, I had previously thought that if voter turnout was declining, why not just allow people to vote with their smartphones? However, I found out that it is not a simple matter, as it requires avoiding fraud and checking against the electoral rolls.
I think that we who are not yet eligible to vote sometimes think of elections as somewhat of a stranger's affair.
However, the day will come when we will be able to vote, so I hope that reading this site will help you learn about the current state of elections, think about what you should do now, and go out and vote, I would be happy if this site will help you to think about what you should do now, and to think that you should go to elections and bring your friends with you.

I researched mainly about foreign countries in creating this site.
In the process, I wished I could talk more comfortably about politics, which is often considered taboo in Japan.
In the process, I wished I could talk more comfortably about politics, which is often considered taboo in Japan.
Also, since I rarely talk about elections, I didn't really know much about them until I looked into it this time.
To be honest, if someone had told me to vote now, I wouldn't have been able to do so because I didn't know what to do.
So I thought that by talking with adults close to me, I could learn about the election and vote without hesitation when I am in a position to vote.
