What we learned from the survey

・More than half of the respondents said that rice flour is attractive, which shows that the potential of rice flour is widely known.
・People know the names of products that use rice flour, but most of them mention only bread, so not many people know that rice flour is used in a wide variety of other dishes.
・Since the respondents said that they had eaten tarts and other foods for school lunch, it seems that rice flour has been around them since they were children.

What we learned from the survey

・Although most people answered that they knew about rice flour, some said they did not know how to use it in cooking.
・More than two-thirds of respondents said they had purchased rice flour, buta wheat flour is more likely to be chosen because rice flour is more expensive than wheat flour.

What we know from the student survey

・They found it important that rice flour is not likely to cause allergy.
→We need to spread the word more about the fact that it is an alternative to wheat flour.
・Rice flour products are highly satisfying
→They didn’t feel uncomfortable just because rice flour is used instead of wheat flour
→Wouldn't it be possible for more people to get their hands on rice flour once it becomes widely distributed?
