I talked to a lot of people.
I never expected that so many people would interview me...!
Yeah, I really learned a lot.
It was a really valuable time for me to learn about the current situation in Japan and its current initiatives while also being able to talk to the people involved in order to learn more about the region.
2023 was the year in which I had the most experiences of my life, thinking about what I could do for the region, shooting PR videos, and participating in Christmas events.
I agree!
Regarding the interviews, we re-interviewed them over and over again.
I have nothing but gratitude to everyone who has been with me.
I really think so
We may be small, but we would be happy if you could look at this site and pay attention to the area.
Yeah, like the people interviewed this time, I want to think about what I can do for the region and actually take action.
I want to do it too! !
I also want to support the local farmers who grow Japanese vegetables and rice.
Food is created by people, transported, and connected to various places such as households, restaurants, tourist spots, and accommodation facilities.
I think so
We need to learn more and spread the word so that people can learn more about agriculture and get more excited about it.
Yeah!
Let's all work together for a better Japan!

Afterword

The three of us researched and learned about regional revitalization.
Regional revitalization has many problems, such as Japan's declining population and hyper-concentration in Tokyo, and it has become clear that no progress is being made in the direction of solving them.
The future of Japan is bleak if things continue as they are, but we can't continue like this, so I thought there was something I could do as a junior high school student, so I started this website. The subtitle of this issue, ``Agriculture connects people,'' is based on the fact that ``food'' is very important to everyone and is an important thing that is indispensable every day. I chose this subtitle because I thought that if we could focus on local agriculture and revitalize it, it would attract the attention of various people and lead to regional revitalization.
When we actually talked to farmers, we found that they hold events using the vegetables they grow, participate in local volunteer activities, and sell vegetables to restaurants and supermarkets, all of which lead to regional revitalization.

In order to achieve regional revitalization, it is important to know the current situation of the region, feel the passionate ``heart'' of the people who say ”we must do something about this situation,'' and work together to create it. We may be small, but through this site, we want to spread the word to people of all ages to learn about the current situation in Japan, and to get them more interested in regional revitalization.
The future of regional revitalization depends on us!
