The three of us researched and learned about regional revitalization.
Regional revitalization has many problems, such as Japan's declining population and hyper-concentration in Tokyo, and it has become clear that no progress is being made in the direction of solving them.
The future of Japan is bleak if things continue as they are, but we can't continue like this, so I thought there was something I could do as a junior high school student, so I started this website. The subtitle of this issue, ``Agriculture connects people,'' is based on the fact that ``food'' is very important to everyone and is an important thing that is indispensable every day. I chose this subtitle because I thought that if we could focus on local agriculture and revitalize it, it would attract the attention of various people and lead to regional revitalization.
When we actually talked to farmers, we found that they hold events using the vegetables they grow, participate in local volunteer activities, and sell vegetables to restaurants and supermarkets, all of which lead to regional revitalization.
In order to achieve regional revitalization, it is important to know the current situation of the region, feel the passionate ``heart'' of the people who say ”we must do something about this situation,'' and work together to create it.
We may be small, but through this site, we want to spread the word to people of all ages to learn about the current situation in Japan, and to get them more interested in regional revitalization.
The future of regional revitalization depends on us!
