I participated in the annual SILVER Christmas event and experienced it.
Sweets will be thrown from the rooftop of the dining bar run by the two members of SILVER,
making it
an event that children can enjoy.
This year, team leader S.A actually helped out three hours before the event started.
Help includes preparing things such as removing and
sorting sweets from boxes, doing shopping, and carrying luggage,
as well as actually climbing on rooftops and
distributing sweets with staff while wearing reindeer costumes.
The video is a scene from the actual event.
I thought it was a very exciting event.I felt the kindness of the people of Omigawa as children of all ages (from 1 year old to high school students) took sweets and gave them to the children who couldn't take them.I thought that by holding events like this, local people would be excited, tourists would come from various places, and by learning about the area, it would lead to regional revitalization.I also wanted to try helping out at the event and think about what is needed to liven up my town.If I have an opportunity like this again, I would like to participate to liven up my hometown. S.A.
