We have payed attention to the characteristic of Japan's food product that
there are a lot of kinds of different tastes in each product. I think it
would be very obvious if you look at the shelves in the supermarket. Don't
you think you see a lot of limited/seasonal taste and packages?
Food Loss companies tries to create products which is most likely to be
sold, so they think of an idea which consumers show interest and make it
popular. What is important for them is to constantly create new kinds of
products and make the span of each product short.
Thanks to this method this became one of the biggest cause to create food loss.
