Fourties Croatian Woman(It is sex on family register)

Q1.Do you know LGBT?

A1.I know what LGBT stands for, but I don't know anyone who openly identifies as such.

Q2.What do you think about them?

A2.I think that it's very hard for them to live in Croatia. Croatia is a 90% catholic country and not so LGBT friendly. I think that they should feel free to live their lives as they like and that they should have the same rights other people have.

Q3.Where did you learn about LGBT? (ex. school, work...)

A3.I don't remember precisely where, but I think that they came to my attention when I saw one gay parade on TV.

Q4. Did anything change after the same-sex partnership has been established?

A4.I hope so, but I'm not sure. There have been some attempts to teach children that there are two-mum or two-dad families, but many Croatians were against this idea and they don't want their children to be taught that gay is OK. Croatia is a traditional country where the law often isn't respected.

Q5.Do you see LGBT couples in your city?

A5.Haha, no way!

Q6.What do you think about LGBT couples?

A6.Well, they seem a little bit strange because I don't have friends who are LGBT people. But I think everyone should feel free to love and live with people they like.

Q7.Do you think the same-sex partnership is a good decision?

A7.If you are referring to the law, I agree that LGBT people should have the same rights as everyone else. If you are referring to their decision to live together, I think that being single is a much better decision for everyone (heterosexual people included).
