Why Do Pets Need These Surgeries?

★Prevent Unexpected Pregnancy

　If you have both males and females at home, of course, but even if you only have one dog, it is possible to get pregnant when you take your eyes off your dog for a while at a dog run. In order to prevent unexpected pregnancies and infections caused by mating, surgery is necessary.

★Keep Your Pet in Good Health

　For animals, especially females sexual desire is one of the physiological needs that cannot be suppressed, just like appetite and desire for sleep. In other words, for pets in estrus, having unfulfilled needs is like not being fed when you're starving or not being allowed to sleep when you're dying. Some pets may even bite or scratch themselves due to stress, so it is important to have them undergo surgery to curb such cravings.

★Reduce Behavioral Problems

　Another concern with pets that are in heat is behavioral problems. In some cases, males are attracted to the scent of females and leave the house, or they run away during walks and become lost. Also, during the estrus period, the male dog may become temperamental, which may cause conflicts with other dogs during walks. Surgery can be expected to reduce such behavior.
