Interview to Pet Owners 3/3
H.T 1 Cat (Stray Cat)
1. What made you decide to get a pet?
I took in a stray cat that I used to meet on the side of the road because it was getting thin and weak. Now that it can catch its own food, I don't keep it.
2. Is there anything that you considered before you got your pet? If so, please tell us about it.
Since the cat was wild, we basically did not feed it commercially available food.
3. What is the best thing about having a pet?
It was a really good experience to be able to help one cat.
4. Please tell us what you wish you had taken care of before you got your pet, and what advice you would give to people who are going to get a pet.
Weakened stray cats are really sensitive, so you need to be very careful about room temperature and food in the beginning. If you pick them up, definitely go to the veterinary.
5.Would you like to get a new pet in the future? Why is that?
I'd like to take in a cat again, but this time from a shelter, because the procedures are less burdensome.
6. Give us happy looking photos!
It is very important to take them to the hospital, especially if they are weak, because they may have diseases that can affect humans.
M.S 2 Cats(Shelter) and 1 Dog(Shelter)
1. What made you decide to get a pet?
The cats were stray kittens, and I decided to keep them when I took them in. I became a foster parent for a dog that I felt a connection with at the time when I was a volunteer cleaner at a facility where sheltered dogs and cats lived!
2. Is there anything that you considered before you got your pet? If so, please tell us about it.
Keep cats indoors (protect them from accidents and diseases, and do not allow them to defecate outside your premises).
3. What is the best thing about having a pet?
I have gained a sense of security and a sense of purpose in life. In particular, since adopting a dog, I have been able to expand the scope of my relationships with my neighbors and with other dog owners.
4. Please tell us what you wish you had taken care of before you got your pet, and what advice you would give to people who are going to get a pet.
I believe that the right choice will lead to a reduction in the number of malicious animal dealers and a decrease in the number of animals killed by government agencies.
When you are about to welcome your precious family member, please consider transferring the animal from a public health center or shelter rather than a store.
5. Would you like to get a new pet in the future? Why is that?
If you are physically and financially able to keep them for the rest of their lives, we will welcome them.
