What is Obsessive–Compulsive?

 It is a condition in which a person is unable to stop thinking about things that he or she knows are trivial, and strong anxiety and preoccupation with them interfere with his or her life. This disease is more common in men than in women. Also,it is more common in people around the age of 20.

 And it is divided into two types of symptoms. We will look at these in detail.


Obsession Conception

 An obsession is an idea that pops into your head against your will and you cannot get rid of it. Even if you know the content is "irrational," you cannot get rid of it from your mind.

 Examples of symptoms include persistent preoccupation with numbers, symmetry, and the position of objects. They may also be fearful and anxious because of assumptions and stereotypes.


Obsession Act

 An act that is motivated by an obsession is called an obsessive act. It is characterized by the inability to stop even when one knows it is "too much" or "pointless.

 In many cases, the fear or anxiety that came up in the obsessive conception section causes the patient to act out. Examples of symptoms include checking house keys, gas valves, etc., and washing one's hands without reason.
