Panic Disorder
What is Panic Disorder?
It is a condition in which, for no reason at all, a person suddenly experiences attacks (panic attacks) of motivation,
dizziness, sweating, choking, nausea, tremors in arms and legs, and other symptoms that interfere with his or her life.
These seizures can be deadly and uncontrollable. As they experience these seizures, they become anxious about having them,
and they avoid going to places where they are likely to occur. As a result, they avoid going to places where they are likely to have seizures.
Especially in confined situations such as elevators and trains, they may become afraid that they will not be able to escape and may not be able to leave the house.
Also, it is not an uncommon disease, with 6 to 9 out of every 1,000 people suffering from panic disorder.
It is also said to be more likely to occur in women than in men.
Various forms of Seizures
These are the types of seizures that occur.
・Suddenly, the heartbeat becomes violent and the cold sweat becomes severe, even though there is no physical abnormality anywhere.
・The patient feels anxious that he or she may die.
・The pain from the seizure and the anxiety that "I might have a seizure" increases, but people around me don't understand.
If you think it is Panic Disorder..
Some people put up with panic attacks because they think the symptoms are temporary. However, they often start thinking about it on a regular basis and cannot shake the anxiety. If any of the symptoms apply to you, do not put up with them and consult with people around you or a specialist.
