Depression
What is Depression?
It is a condition in which the brain is not working properly due to mental or physical stress. It lowers the energy of the body and mind, causing various kinds of illnesses, and in many cases, suicide.
Depression can affect anyone. With early detection and treatment, many people recover, but in some cases it can persist for a long time. The mechanism of depression is not clearly understood. In Japan, as many as 6 out of every 100 people experience depression.
There are two types of symptoms of depression. We will look at each in detail.
Mental
Mental symptoms include the following
・Feeling depressed
・Lack of motivation
・Indifference
・Anxiety, impatience, irritability
・Beome negative
・Lack of concern for appearance
・Increased ability to concentrate
・Talks less and becomes more absentminded
Physical
Physical symptoms include the following
・Headaches
・Palpitations
・Sleep disturbance
・Loss of appetite
・Dizziness
・Physical discomfort
・Stiffness in the shoulders
・Diarrhea, constipation
・Irregular menstruation

If you have any of the aforementioned symptoms and wonder if you are suffering from depression, take it easy and go to the hospital for treatment.
