Successful data sharing!
Today, our team experienced a revolution. We have succeeded in sharing our website in real time, something we have been trying to do for a long time!
We used to code html and css on our own computers and use chat tools to share as needed.
So, for example, if we wanted to change the header of every page, we had to first modify the code on one member's computer, then send it to all members via the chat tool, and then all members had to copy the header code from the chat tool and paste it back on their own computers. Also, the links on the site did not work properly because the data for each page was on each member's computer, which was very inconvenient.
In fact, immediately after the team was formed, we tried once to share this website in real time, but it did not go well and we were left alone. However, with less than three weeks to go before the website was to be submitted, we decided to try real-time sharing again, as we felt that it would be tough to have the final information gathered on one person's computer and fine-tuning done by one person.
We changed the angle from the last time and sought a format to store data in the cloud, and we succeeded in sharing the data surprisingly easily, in half a day.
What was all that hard work before...
So, from now on, you can keep an eye on the overall balance of the website and refer to your teammates' code as you code! Also, it is now easier for me to help my teammates with their coding. (I used to do this via remote desktop). And it is motivating to see how the pages created by each team member are linked together to create a website!
We'll keep working hard on the website to make sure we meet the submission deadline!
