Hanger

I printed a hanger to learn the usage of a 3D printer and CAD software with you.

I wanted to know more about the 3D printer while looking it up to make this website and decided to print something.

I made a tablet stand referring to the PDCA cycle.

I made a hanger because trying the 3D printer by myself is the best way to understand it more deeply.

DO

Design

A designed hanger is too big to print with a 3D printer in my club room. Therefore, I decided to print the data by dividing it into two parts.

As for printing, I was supported by a member Takahisa who has used 3D printers for other projects.

I was supposed to join two parts and make a hanger. However, the lengths of the left and right parts that should be the same length were different. (The hanger should be divided right and left equally based on the hook; however, the two parts are designed to be the same length.)

ACTION

I adjusted the right and left parts(designed the left part shorter). In addition, I also adjusted the joint to join tightly. Then I could make it successfully.

I tried it and felt that it was more convenient than I thought because it is sturdy and can hang pants even if it is a little small.

I felt the importance of thinking about "How it will be printed" when using CAD software. In addition, designing 3D objects while thinking about how I construct them is also important.

It was difficult to adjust the length of the left and right parts because I designed it in two parts. If I could try again, I will design it after calculating the length of each part.

I would like to continue making things with the 3D printer by utilizing this experience. Additionally, I want to use more equipments in Dengiken

Dengiken is the club we belong to. The abbreviation is Dengiken. Each of us has our own project and conducts the research we want to do. next year.
