The first 3D printer was developed 40 years ago. At that time, there was only Stereolithography
Stereolithography is a method that draws each layer and stacks it by solidifying liquid resin with a UV laser.. However, there are various kinds of 3D printing technologies today.
Place: Dengiken's club room
Fused Filament Fabrication is a method that draws each layer and stacks them by extruding resin from the heated nozzle and changing the relative position between the stage and nozzle. became more inexpensive at as much prices as we can buy them by ourselves because the patent expired in 2009 and caused development competition.
The final product is one that is actually sold to the consumers, not a prototype or sample. Functionality and durability are required. because of improving performance despite they were used for prototypes a few years ago.

We introduce types of 3D printers and their printing process which are evolving more and more on this page. We will be glad if you feel the profundity of them.
These are five types of 3D printers sold in general. Please take a look at unique 3D printers.
Fused Filament Fabrication
Aliases:FFF,FDM
A method that draws each layer and stacks them by extrusion resin from the heated nozzle and changing the relative position between the stage and nozzle. It is mainstream because the cost performance is good.
Stereolithography
Aliases:SLA,DLP,LCD
A method that draws each layer and stacks them by solidifying liquid resin with a UV laser. This method has the oldest history in 3D printers. It is a feature of this method that the surface of the printed objects becomes clean.
MultiJet Printing
Aliases:MJP,MJT,PolyJet
A method that draws each layer and stacks them by jetting resin from inkjet printhead and are solidified them with a UV laser. It can print elaborate objects because the layer resolution is too high.
Place: 3D Solution Center
We visited IGUAZU 3D Solution Center which exhibited various kinds of 3D printers and learned about those 3D printers. Pictures that we used in the「Types of 3D Printers」 page are almost taken in this facility by us.
