We interviewed a team of soccer robots!

Soccer Robots project is a project to compete in the soccer division of a competition called RoboCup using a 3D printer-created aircraft.

The rules of this RoboCup Soccer competition are that each team consists of two aircraft, which compete to score points by placing the ball in the opponent's goal, just like in regular soccer.

I covered this soccer robot project and learned a lot from it, as it has achieved very high results, placing third in the Asian Games.

2) Impressions

In this RoboCup Soccer tournament, robots collide with each other many times, just like in a regular soccer game, so it was necessary to increase the strength of each motor and other parts.

However, buying strong parts can be very expensive. This team, therefore, used a 3D printer instead of relying on expensive off-the-shelf products to reduce the budget.

Substituting a ready-made product like this with a 3D printer is not an easy task. So I thought this interview was very useful for me.
