Robot x 3D printer ①!

Hello to all of you reading! This is Riku.

Last time I wrote about my desire to suppress typhoons with a 3D printer! I wrote about my desire to use a 3D printer to suppress typhoons. This time, I would like to change the theme a little and write about how to transcend the limits of printing scale! I would like to write about my desire to use a 3D printer to control a typhoon.

Have you ever felt that there is a commonality in the shapes that come to mind when people think of 3D printers? When I really looked into the shapes of 3D printers and their products, I got the impression of a "rectangular skeleton.

Why is that!

I considered that it is because "there is a limit to the printing scale".

There are many types of 3D printers, including small printers that can be purchased at home and placed in the living room, and large coffin-sized ones that can be seen at exhibitions and other events where companies purchase them.

However, all of them have one thing in common: they all have a limit to the scale of printing.

No matter how large the printing scale is, there is still a limit. In such a case, I thought we would run into the problem of "Can we print the Gundam in Odaiba? In such a case, I thought we would run into the problem of "Can we print the Gundam placed in Odaiba?

So, in the next article, I will focus on the "printing scale problem".

Thank you for reading. See you next time!
